In order to take the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) Specialty, you must first already be a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent), and you must be 12 years old. The total training fees are 125.00.

The PADI Enriched Air EANx Certification course gives the knowledge and skills to dive with Enriched Air mixes up to 40% O2, within recreational scuba limits. The duration of the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox ) diver course runs about three hours. The class will start out with a short review session followed by the final exam. Once a student has completed all of their performance requirements, we will process their certification card. Once processed the student will be a certified scuba diver.

There are still plenty of PADI dive centers around, though they are getting harder and harder to find. If you are stopping at Divemaster, it matters less. If you are considering PADI as a professional level beyond Divemaster, you should really do your research.

You will be working directly with the real thing, full time professional dive instructors. The quality of the program is simply higher at Island Divers, we provide more hands on training with real clients than any other dive center and will assist you in becoming a real, not a “textbook” divemaster.
